How To Search Microsoft Outlook PST Files within Windows 7

Windows 7 does not search within Microsoft Outlook PST files by default -- but this can easily be enabled:
- From the Start Menu type "Indexing Options" (the program will be found before you finish typing)
- <Click> on the Indexing Options program
- <Click> the Advanced Button
- From the File Types Tab, <Click> (select) the Checkbox next to PST Extension
- From the How should this file be indexed? section (below), select "Index Properties and File Contents"
- Click OK, then Close
